Information we process

When you request a trial, we process the details you provide: your name, work email address, company, optional role, expected usage and message. The form sends this information directly by email to info@smox.ai. The website application does not store a separate copy of the trial request in its database. Standard technical request information may still be processed temporarily for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your information to assess your request, respond to you, prepare a potential trial relationship and protect the form against misuse. The processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and is also based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure business contact channel.

Cookies, local fonts and audience measurement

This public website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Open Sans is served directly from the SMOX.AI website; no font request is sent to Google or another font provider. The website does not embed Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Analytics or advertising pixels.

We use a cookieless Matomo configuration hosted at matomo.mixvoip.com to understand aggregate website usage and improve the service. Matomo site ID 16 is configured in the page with cookies disabled. The page respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and does not load the analytics script when one of those signals is active. Audience measurement is based on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website with minimal data.

The Matomo server must remain configured to minimise visitor data, including appropriate IP anonymisation, short retention periods and restricted administrative access. These server-side controls are part of the production compliance checklist and cannot be verified from this website code alone.

Recipients and hosting

Access is limited to authorised Datacenter Luxembourg personnel and service providers required to operate hosting and email delivery functions. These providers process information under appropriate contractual and security safeguards. We do not sell information submitted through this form.

Retention

Trial enquiries are retained in the receiving business mailbox only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, document the resulting business relationship and meet legal obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing relationship are reviewed for deletion after twelve months unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).
